The awards were given to:
• Fred Anderson, Cala at Grandhome, Aberdeen (North)
• Ian Welsh, Mayburn Park, Straiton (East)
Ian Welsh also went on to receive the highly coveted Regional Award in the Large Builder category. He will now be entered into the final stage of the awards process, the Supreme Awards, which will be held in London in January.
The ceremony was held at the Glasgow Hilton on Friday 5th October, and is one of ten events held across the UK where Pride in the Job Quality winners find out whether they have gone on to achieve a Seal of Excellence and a Regional Award. In total, 12 Seal of Excellence winners from across Scotland were announced at the Scottish regional event.
The NHBC's Pride in the Job Awards are highly competitive and widely recognised as the highest accolade a site manager can receive. To be awarded any of the Pride in the Job accolades is testimony to the hard work, dedication and high standards of the site manager, the Cala site team and subcontracted trades, as well as all the staff involved in the site.
Congratulations to both our award-winning Site Managers and their teams, and good luck to Ian in the final stage of the awards in January.
