At ages 49 and 60 respectively, Denise and Philip decided it was time for a change. They were ready to embrace a new chapter in their lives, and with two daughters still in secondary schools in Hertford, the timing seemed just right for a fresh start.

Upon their search for new builds in Hertford, Denise and Philip came across our Limsi Grove development. Denise is thrilled with her new home, she said: “We wanted to buy a new build home in Hertford as our previous home of 21 years had been lived in before and needed a lot of maintenance which took up a lot of our free time.

“We didn’t plan on purchasing the showhome but it really took us by surprise and when we seen how well the property was laid out and just how stunning the interior design was, we were quickly sold on the property.” 

When asked what’s their favourite part of their new home, Denise said: “We just love the light and spacious feel of the property. The space in the bedrooms, kitchen, and sitting room impressed us. We especially like the kitchen as this is where we spend a lot of our time together as a family and it’s also a great entertaining space for our guests."

“The home feels very bright and airy thanks to the large windows, both up and downstairs, and thanks to the bi-fold doors in the kitchen and sitting room."

“Overall, the showhome was very well presented, it was certainly an influential factor for us.”

When asked if the energy efficiency of a new build home was also a contributing factor in their purchasing process, Denise said: “Yes, definitely. The house has great insulation, and the smart thermostat is such an amazing application, something we didn’t have in our previous home.”

In addition to their new home’s many features, Denise and Philip have been particularly pleased with the convenience of having a home charging point installed.

“We also have an electric vehicle charging station at home which saves us having to find EV charging stations in Hertford. Its also very practical as we drive a lot between work and taking the girls to school so it's really handy to have it at our disposal.”

When Denise and Philip were first viewing the development, they noticed billboards promoting our Part Exchange service and decided to enquire about it.
