Matt Oldfield - Group Managing Director

Matt was appointed Group Managing Director in 2025. 

He joined Cala in February 2024 as Group Development Director. Before joining Cala, Matt’s was with Avant Homes where he worked from 2017, most recently in the role of Regional Managing Director, previously Regional Construction Director and Head of Customer Service. Prior to this, he spent fifteen years at Persimmon and Charles Church. 

Matt oversees Cala's regional businesses alongside leading all aspects of development at Cala, including Construction, Health and Safety, Sustainability, Commercial and Customer Service.  

He holds a degree in Business Management, a Master’s degree in Leadership Management and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Builders.
