To reflect our commitment to our communities over the lifecycle of our developments, we have introduced our Community Pledge. Our Pledges bring together a host of bespoke measures for each local community including activities, donations, initiatives, volunteering drives and much more.
The Community Pledge goes above and beyond planning obligations, in fact it's an evolution of work we’ve been doing for many years within the communities in which we build, ensuring that we support the local areas and people who live there.

Cala’s interior design team have selected 10 local businesses to inspire our latest showhomes. From artists to photographers, framers to florists, our Showhome of Support initiative allow us to support local, and showcase wonderful local businesses to visitors and homeowners alike.
Our sponsorship of the Spooky Trail Event allowed every pupil at Linlithgow Primary School to participate in 2022, increasing inclusivity within the local community. We will also be supporting this in 2023 & 2024.
Cala continues to sponsor the main stage of the local Beecraigs Festive Forest event in 2023 & 2024, helping to promote a whole host of local musical talent.
Stay Safe, Stay Away offers primary schools an interactive session covering the history of building houses as well as the variety of fantastic and varied career opportunities within the industry, as well educating pupils about the dangers of going into construction areas unsupervised.
Our sponsorship, in conjunction with Linlithgow Athletics Club, has provided the kick-start required for between 100 and 150 children between the ages of 4 and 14 to participate in a weekly Junior Park Run every Sunday, the first of its kind at Linlithgow Cycle Route.
We provided pupils from St Joseph’s Primary School Litter Picking Group with equipment and high vis vests allowing them to continue to make a positive difference to their surroundings while ensuring they stay safe while doing so.
Land To Life is a curriculum-based schools project aimed at 7-11 year olds. The comprehensive suite of teachers’ notes and detailed lesson plans aims to educate children on how new communities are created, from land acquisition through to sales and marketing.
