Lathallan Grange, Polmont

Cala Homes (West) have submitted plans to Falkirk Council for a residential-led mixed-use development at Gilston Farm, Polmont. A series of planning and technical applications have been made, with initial site works now underway.

The proposed development, Lathallan Grange, will provide around 500 homes (including 25% affordable housing), expansive areas of parkland and a large mixed use commercial area with opportunity for a variety of amenities, including a number of retail units (subject to approval). At the heart of the development will be a major central park and attractive wetland area, linked to a network of other parks, sport and play spaces. This will provide recreational space for the whole community to enjoy and encourage active travel.

Our proposed collection of homes will range from 2-3 bedroom terrace and 3-bedroom semi-detached, to 4 and 5 bedroom detached homes, all efficiently and sustainably heated using ground source heat pump technology.

Lathallan Grange will also see the adoption of our Community Pledge initiative, which aims to create a bespoke plan of community support that will add value and meaningful benefit, including donations, volunteering, school programmes and much more.

As part of this, our Urban Wildlife Strategy outlines our commitment to incorporate wild-life supporting measures into every new home we build, such as bat roosting and bird nesting features, as well as hedgehog-friendly fences and invertebrate bricks for bees and other invertebrates.

Lathallan Grange is due to launch for sale in summer 2025, with completion of the first homes anticipated for late 2025.
