Planning application being prepared
Cala Homes (West) is preparing to submit a planning application to Renfrewshire Council for residential development in Erskine.
The area of land sits off Florish road roundabout, on the eastern boundary in the Inchinnan area of town, neighbouring Cala's existing Erskine development - Gilchrist Gardens.
The proposed development would deliver 57 private Cala homes, comprising a mix of 3 bedroom terraced, 3- and 4- bedroom townhouses, and 4- and 5-bedroom detached homes, alongside 18 affordable flats. The site will be surrounded by generous green space to the south, including the Sandieland Woodland, and will feature a children's play area.
The development is well located for access North over the Erskine Bridge, West to Paisley and Glasgow via the M8 and to Glasgow International Airport only 5 miles south of the town. As well as being closeby to a number of amenities within Erskine and surrounding areas including Renfrew Golf Club, Erskine Golf Club and the prestigious Mar Hall Golf resort and spa.
If our planning application is successful, through Cala’s Community Pledge initiative we will work closely with the local community to develop a tailored programme of support. This bespoke plan will focus on delivering genuine, long-term value to the area through meaningful contributions such as donations, volunteering efforts, education programmes in local schools, and much more.
Our Urban Wildlife Strategy , outlines our commitment to enhancing biodiversity across all our developments. With guidance from expert ecologists, we’ll include features that help protect and support native species, such as bat roosting and bird nesting features, hedgehog-friendly fences and invertebrate bricks for bees and other invertebrates.
