Land Case Study for Hurlocke Fields, North Hertfordshire College

Hurlocke Fields, Hitchin, is a 116-home community situated on land at North Hertfordshire College’s Hitchin campus – brought forward following the approval of a joint planning application between the college and Cala Homes.

Cala worked closely with North Hertfordshire College to ensure that the college’s needs were met during the planning and construction stages while delivering much-needed new homes to the area.

The proposed development was granted planning permission in November 2020 and provides significant social and economic value for individuals, businesses, and local communities through learning and housing.
