To reflect our commitment to our communities over the lifecycle of our developments, we introduced our Community Pledge in 2023. Our Pledges bring together a host of bespoke measures for each local community including donations, support for local initiatives, volunteering drives and much more.
Our ongoing partnership with Samaritans which promotes good mental health across our workforce and subcontractors and supports the charity’s fundraising efforts. Our current total is £620,00 in fundraising and corporate donations since 2020.
Alongside our private homes, Cala is committed to providing afforadable homes for local communities. The number of affordable homes built by Cala has increased as the business has grown. Cala works closely with Parish and Town Councils as well as local residents groups to ensure we build the right mix and type of homes and tenures to satisfy local, as well as district-wide, housing need.
