The trail offered local families the chance to win one of six sets of family tickets to Woburn Safari Park, upon completion of the trail.
The treasure trail was organised by us, within the thriving new community of Wintringham in St Neots.
Children of all ages were tasked to find nine letters on posters around the park and then put all the letters together to discover a secret password. Securing tickets to the safari park, the winners from the trail include: the Butterworth, Johnson, Bunting-Cleary, Wyse, Walsh and Kuo families.
The trail ran in partnership with Huntingdonshire District Council who manages Riverside Park.
Cllr Marge Beutell, Executive Councillor of Operations and Environment for Huntingdonshire District Council, comments: “During lockdown, the open spaces of Riverside Park have offered the local community an area to exercise safely in accordance with Government restrictions. We were delighted to be approached by Cala Homes to partner on this fabulous activity.”
Glenn Copper, Sales and Marketing Director for Cala North Home Counties, adds: “Our aim for the Cala Treasure Trail at Riverside Park was to help promote wellbeing amongst local families, offering a free activity in the fresh air over May Half Term Holiday.
“As well as enjoying the trail itself, I’m sure all of the winning children and their families will be extremely excited to visit the park throughout the summer months and everything the Safari park has to offer.”
Our development at Wintringham has proven to be a popular, offering a collection of one and two bedroom apartments and three and four bedroom homes.
The homes currently available are priced between £299,950 and £599,950.
