Having kicked off a series of events at Easter, the new school, located in the heart of our Fullers Meadow development, is hosting a range of celebrations for its pupils in the run up to the summer holidays, including a Jubilee celebration.
The school opened in September 2020 and hasn’t been able to host any school events until this term due to the pandemic. With the school right on our doorstep, we've been eager to support its staff and pupils as the academy flourishes. Our Chiltern team has donated a gazebo and raffle prizes worth more than £200 to support the upcoming Sports days, fairs and Jubilee celebrations.
Emily, Head of the PTA at Wantage Primary Academy, said: “This is an exciting time for us as we begin to embrace day-to-day school life after the pandemic. We’re continually looking for funds to help us grow our community so that our children have the best experience.
“We’ve got big plans and look forward to working closely with Cala in the future.”
Stala Thomson, Sales and Marketing Director at Cala Chiltern, said: “Wantage Primary Academy plays a vital role within our Fullers Meadow community. Located in the heart of the development, families that move to Fullers Meadow are likely to enrol their young children into the academy.
“That’s why we’re committed to helping the school raise the funds that they need to offer the experience that their pupils deserve. We hope the staff and pupils have a wonderful time at their events this term.”
