Planning Application - Conglass, Inverurie

Cala Homes (North) has submitted a full planning application for 95 homes, including 71 four and five bedroom detached houses and 24 affordable properties comprising terraced home and apartments.

The submission comes following the recent approval of Cala’s masterplan for the site by Aberdeenshire Council.

The plans would add a second phase to our previous development, The Grove at Inverurie, which sold out at the end of 2021.

Lynn Melvin, Senior Land Manager for Cala North, said: “Our detailed planning application outlines our proposal for much-needed, high-quality sustainable homes in the area, alongside supporting infrastructure, open space and landscaping – all designed to complement the surrounding environment.

“Our plans include a number of sustainability and biodiversity measures and the development would see the adoption of our Community Pledge initiative, which aims to create a bespoke plan of community support including donations, volunteering, school programmes and more.

“Our previous phase at Conglass was very successful and saw us forge good relationships with the local community in Inverurie. If approved, we look forward to continuing this with our new phase.”
